Eagle and Isaiah 40 Project
In December of 1990, I made a wedding gift for our friends, Jack and Tammy Gravel featuring a watercolor of an eagle in flight and the words of Isaiah 40 written in calligraphy.
Since that time, I hoped to make another print that I could share with family and friends. My aspiration to create art prints was put on hold for many years while I kept busy homeschooling my nine children. In July of 2016, I received an Answers in Genesis “Kids Answers" magazine that had an article about birds. In this pullout section, I came across a beautiful photograph of an eagle in flight. It brought to mind the project I had thought about over 30 years ago.
This year I finally took the time to sketch the eagle and make a water color.
This version was inspired by a testimony shared on Sunday at River Point Advent Christian Church in West Warwick.
